access to joy through communication

I am so fortunate to know such passionate and compassionate people, and to see one of them talking about communication access at a global scale, to the rest of the world brings me so much joy.

Meredith would roll her eyes at my squeals of delight, nudge me and say, "What? I needed to do something with my life after I retired. Besides which, you know how we just do these advocacy things to survive. In a few years, you could be up there instead of me". The fact is that all these little things progress societies a tiny bit in the right direction, and that is the definition of hope, isn't it?
