So there’s a hashtag going viral at the moment that is #disabledpeoplearehot. I contemplated posting a photo of me at my podiatrist appointment struggling with my AFO (with Sophie photobombing), but this mini movement is important and people need to slightly objectify us in recognising our humanness. I decided that I need to get over myself, or something, and somewhat genuinely join it. So here’s a photo of my gorgeous beach body, my beautiful squinty eyes and my pretty bed hair.
